I hate to have to correct people, but I've noticed that information read on the forum tends to be taken as truth.

A Page Rank of 1 is not high, it is in fact ... low.

Google Page Rank goes from Unranked, to zero and from zero to ten,
Unranked is Google hasn't decided.
0 is bad and a Google Page Rank of 10 is best.

I published an article on Swine flu and natural treatments, the same day when the key words "swine flu natural treatment" are typed into Google search engine Nature's Nexus comes up on the first page...page 1!
That is pretty good really considering all the information that is on the internet at present to do with the swine flu.

Actually strictly speaking the page rank is a 3 out of 10, but these figures fluctuate and it is rare for anybody to get higher than a 5!

I understand what you were now trying to say but again, sorry, but I'm going to have to dispute your logic.

Being first for "swine flu natural treatment" in Google.ie is not a sign of good SEO,
it's just that there is no other Irish web site using the words "swine flu natural treatment" ... so you have to show up first.

Also, until you wrote that post, there was no one looking for "swine flu natural treatment" in Ireland.

So tell me then in relation to Nature's Nexus what is it's Page Rank? 1 or 10?

Your site is unranked at the moment according to the software tool I use.

You are number 1 in Google.ie, not Google.com and Google.ie gives preference to Irish Websites, and there are no other Irish based pages with the keywords "swine flu natural treatment" in Ireland .... so as I already said ... you have to show up first.

Since the phrase you are using is "swine flu and natural treatments" you have to come up first

You are in Ireland, so when you search in Ireland, Google.com will display local pages first ... regardless, with a mix of other pages.

I have software that allows me to search from different locations, and when searching from the UK, in Google.co.uk, uk sites come up first first.
When searching from the USA in Google .com, USA based sites come up first.

My proof will be the thread I started on "swine flu and natural treatments" in this forum.
If Google finds it, and it should as Google bot was here today, it will show up near your listing in a few days at most.

Yes, but your keyword phrase is "swine flu and natural treatments", not 'Swine Flu Treatments'

You do show up for "swine flu treatments", but not number 1 ... and for the same reasons ...

You could of been number one for that phrase too, as it's a non competitive keyword and looking at 1,2 & 3 will give you some hints as to why you were not.

You make it sound like my key word phrase is set in stone!?!
I was just using it as an example, if I type in those words. Then I brought it down to three actually very competitive words for today considering all the information that is on the internet regarding swine flu and treatments, "Swine Flu Treatment" to prove that Natures Nexus is still coming up on the home page.
I don't really get your point except to prove that you know than I do about SEO.
But while you probably know a fair bit about SEO seen as that is what you do, I'm not bad myself. For example I have a website http://www.whitewitch.ie that comes up first when the three very competitive keywords "natural beauty products" are entered into Google. It took a lot of work to achieve that, especially seen as the website is White Witch and the domain name was not relating to natural beauty products in any way, that always makes it more difficult.

Just putting the key words without the "" means that what comes up can be in the same sentence or not even in the same paragraph but always on the same page.
